If there are any of our projects or activities that you are passionate about, and that you want to contribute to, you can mark your donation with the name of the purpose. Then your donation will be set aside for the purpose you want.
We still reserve the right to use the funds where it is assessed by our experts on the ground so that they do the most good. But we guarantee that your donation WILL be used within the framework set in the project you have chosen to support.
Do you want to become a sponsor of one of our children in the Kyangwali Refugee Settlement? There are many children who need a little extra assistance and help, and not least follow-up from our skilled people.

Help comes in many forms. At P4T, we also welcome products and other things that individuals and business partners want to donate or help with.
Mobile as a Child Helpline will be given to our work through Child Protection committees which aim to counteract and report child abuse and violence including forced marriage of children under 18 years of age.
Tablets / Ipads, laptop as a new E-learning technology will be given to schools as support for students and teachers who will drastically make learning easier, especially in times where lockdowns are common due to the pandemic, but also in normal times to be able to reach more students. Tablets and Ipad will be installed with programs that are relevant to the subjects you have on the education plan in Uganda, and also have the children's rights installed.
Do you have something you want to give away? Before donation please clear your device of all your personal files. If you can, keep the software programs such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.

What polices does P4T have in place to protect people from harassment and abuse?
This page highlights the policies and processes P4T has in place to protect the people we work with from any form of abuse, exploitation, discrimination and harm.
What does safeguarding mean for P4T?
At P4T, we are committed to zero tolerance of sexual harassment, exploitation and abuse in our organization. This means that we will do everything in our power to prevent these from happening, and rigorously address it each and every time it happens. One of the most important pillars of safeguarding is our Code of Conduct, which provides a framework within which all P4T employees, regardless of location, undertake to carry out their duties and to regulate their conduct.
No employee should be subjected to harassment based on race, colour, creed, gender, religion, sex, marital status, sexual exploitation, pregnancy, physical handicap, disability, medical condition, ancestry, or any other consideration made unlawful by National laws.
How can P4T staff, volunteers, partners and people we work with safely report cases of misconduct?
Anyone (including P4T’s partners and people we work with) can raise a concern or make a complaint to P4T about something they have experienced or witnessed without fear of retribution.

How does the incident reporting process work?
We commit to engage all relevant parties and to act quickly to conclude all cases. However, the timeline may vary depending on the nature and difficulty of the complaint.

How do we work to prevent abuse and misconduct from happening in the first place?
Prevention: This includes meeting, training, communications and information to prevent risk of harm and abuse, a revision of staff screening processes, risk assessment and an evaluation of staff capacity to perform the work. P4T strives to create and maintain a work environment which is free of intimidation, oppression and exploitation.
Support and care: Providing resources to support and care for those who have experienced discrimination, sexual harassment, abuse and/or violence. It also includes ensuring that staff have access to specialized training and real-life experience.
Response: Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against any employee who violates this policy. Based upon the seriousness of the offences disciplinary action may include a verbal or written warning, suspension, or termination of employment. Also strengthening and harmonizing policies and procedures, and ensuring that these are clear and accessible to all. We are aiming to cultivate an environment where information is shared and people are held accountable.
